The Best Things to Know about London to Paris Bike Rides for Charity

Cycling from London to Paris in three days is the most popular option. It's still a tough challenge that really tests your legs. If you train hard before your trip, this challenge really is within everyone's reach.

The most important decision here is whether you get to the coast and rest overnight before taking the ferry the next day, or try to cycle to the coast and take the ferry the same day and stay overnight at the French port of your choice.

London to Paris Bike Rides for charity is a once-in-a-lifetime charity event that sees participants cycle 300 miles from one world-famous capital to another over four memorable days, arriving in time to soak up the atmosphere of the event the final stage of the Tour de France.

Go on this bucket list with friends and family or alone, surrounded by like-minded people, and create memories that will last forever. The ride en masse enters Paris the day before the final stage of the Tour de France, giving you the chance to enjoy the carnival atmosphere of the world's biggest cycling race, a must for every cyclist!

What is our Aim?

Our London to Paris Bike Rides is a great cycling challenge and arguably one of the best fundraisers in Europe, attracting hundreds of riders every year and raising thousands for charities nationwide. We spend 4 days in the saddle and cycle 309 miles from capital to capital.

Our journey begins in London on a route that takes us through the stunning English countryside as we cycle from Kent to Dover before crossing the Channel to Calais.

We cycle across the water "French style" remembering to stay on the right! We cycle along quiet French country roads through traditional country towns overlooking the rolling green hills of northern France, passing Somme war memorials and cemeteries.

We have a great finish when we reach the home court around the Arc de Triomphe and along the Champs Elysees before reaching the pièce de résistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks our finish line.

The days in the saddle can be long, but with the sense of achievement we feel when we cross the finish line and the euphoric atmosphere of celebrating our achievements in this wonderful capital, the pain in the saddle will soon subside!
